Lunch will be provided by the Meanie Weenie Food Truck, and we hope you will join us as we celebrate two exciting milestones for our community.

During the event:

• The City of Southfield Department of Public Works will recognize employees who have earned trade certifications that strengthen the department's ability to provide more services in-house. The entire DPW team has been invited as our guests in appreciation of their commitment to keeping Southfield functional, safe, and beautiful.

• The Southfield Downtown Development Authority will officially launch the Cornerstone Comeback Grant Program, a new initiative designed to encourage investment, support business growth, improve commercial properties, and strengthen Southfield's Historic Cornerstone District.

The Cornerstone Comeback Grant Program offers three grant opportunities focused on helping businesses successfully open, expand, or relocate within the district while encouraging property improvements that enhance the appearance, identity, and long-term competitiveness of Northland Park and the Historic Cornerstone District.

This event is an opportunity to recognize the outstanding work of City employees, celebrate a new economic development initiative, and demonstrate our shared commitment to supporting Southfield's businesses and commercial corridors.
